• Account information: When you sign in with Google, Apple, or email, we receive your name, email address, and profile photo (if available).
• Trip data: Destinations, dates, budgets, itinerary items, and other trip details you create within the app.
• Expense data: Expense descriptions, amounts, categories, and cost-splitting information you enter.
• Saved places: Destinations and places you bookmark for later reference.

How We Use Your Information

• To provide and maintain the app's core functionality.
• To enable trip collaboration — sharing itineraries and expenses with people you invite.
• To display destination suggestions using the Google Places API.
• To sync travel bookings from Gmail (only when you explicitly authorize access).

Third-Party Services

Amble uses the following third-party services:

• Google Sign-In: For authentication. Subject to Google's Privacy Policy.
• Google Places API: To provide destination suggestions, photos, and place information.
• Convex: Our backend database for storing trip, expense, and user data securely.

Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored securely on Convex's cloud infrastructure. We use authentication tokens to ensure only you (and people you explicitly invite) can access your trip data. All network communication uses HTTPS encryption.

Your Rights

• Delete your account: You can delete your account and all associated data directly from the Profile screen in the app, or visit our account deletion page.
• Access your data: All your trip and expense data is visible within the app at any time.
• Data portability: Contact us to request an export of your data.

Children's Privacy

Amble is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date.
